What in you is ready to come to the surface?

The badger lives in the deep. It digs down into the darkness, knows the roots and secrets of the earth, and carries a knowledge most people never look for. It is not afraid of what is hidden. It is at home there.

In shamanic tradition the badger is the bearer of Mother Earth's healing knowledge. It restores what has been lost: focus, determination, self-confidence, willpower. It reminds us that the answer we are searching for is not out there. It lies beneath the surface, in what we already carry.

The Badger Moon is an invitation to dig deeper. Into the subconscious knowledge that is waiting to come up into the light.
