Sjamanistisk Forbund invites you to join in celebrating the July full moon. This year's July full moon falls late in the month, and summer is starting to wane as we move towards autumn, but we can still see signs of summer's strength in the nature around us.
In July, meadowsweet blooms, an old, well-known medicinal herb, and this full moon is dedicated to exploring meadowsweet's healing properties.
We hold the ceremony at Trollhavn, and if the weather allows we will be outdoors, so dress for being outside. A good North Norwegian summer's day can quickly call for both a summer romper and a snowmobile suit if you're going to sit outside by a fire for a while.
As always, the event is alcohol and drug free, free of charge and open to everyone, and we finish with a social gathering around the fire, so feel free to bring food to share or something you'd like to grill over the fire.
