We gather in stillness around the bonfire, where our own voice can fall silent and nature and the river can speak. The new moon gives us room to sense what we need to direct our energy towards, which parts of you long for nourishment, what is ready to grow forth, what do you need to address? Working with the moon phases can feel rewarding, balancing and healing, but is by no means always a walk in the park.
The new moon comes with its own particular energy and qualities, it shows us the time to gather or to sow new seeds that are sustainable in our lives (for example, it was during the new moon in Sámi tradition that sennegrass was cut, so that it would remain strong and not crumble after use and drying).
Kjemåga stasjon is privately owned and lies in Saltdal municipality in Nordland, right between two majestic peaks, Ørfjellet and Solvågtinden. The road up from the E6 is somewhat rough, but passable by car.
I will light a bonfire and you are welcome to bring an offering for the fire, a cup and something to sit or lie on. No prior knowledge is required, only an open mind and heart. The gathering is open to everyone, both members and non-members of SF, it is alcohol and drug free and free of charge.
