Welcome to the Summer Solstice. Ceremony leader in training Karen Elise Bjerke is holding this ceremony. The intention of the ceremony is: to celebrate the brightest day and night of the year. Honouring the sun goddess, reflection, fire and change. Ancestors, reflection, nature, inner journey, patience, transformation, power at its peak.

What you can expect at the ceremony: Cleansing and opening of the directions, the sacred fire is lit (if conditions allow). The ceremony begins and there will be a drum journey. After the ceremony there will be a social gathering. If you're running late, let me know on tel. 45810345. We can probably wait a little if you're just around the corner. If you arrive after the drum journey has started, you will unfortunately have to wait outside until it is over. I am available by phone during the last hour before the ceremony begins.

Bring something to sit on and clothes suited to the weather. Bring a drum, rattle, etc. If you have any, food/drink if you wish, so we can share and enjoy ourselves after the ceremony.

Feel free to bring a small offering, this could be nuts, fruit, flowers or similar.

The venue for the ceremony depends on dry weather and not too much wind. If necessary, the ceremony will be held at Foss-eikeland, and any changes will be posted here in the event.

The ceremony is organised by the Sjamanistisk forbund, is free and open to all. The event is 100% substance-free.
