This is a simple ceremony that can be performed at the spring equinox or on the first full moon after the spring equinox. It is a wishing ceremony. This is a very powerful ceremony, so be careful what you ask for.
The sacred space is prepared, the ceremonial area is cleansed and the fire pit is cleared. You build the sacred fire
Open the sacred space by calling in the directions and light the fire
Cleanse the area and yourself
Take a raw egg and place it in your lap or a pocket. Take a drum journey or a meditation on what you wish for in the coming year.
Write this on the egg.
Hold the egg in both hands and blow on it four times.
Thank the spirits who have helped you with the work and give them an offering.
Close the circle and say farewell.
Ask the egg to find a tree or a stone where it can be offered, and smash the egg against the tree or the stone.
Give thanks 3 times.
