En enkelt jervemåne du kan gjøre hjemmefra

Not all of our members have the opportunity to take part in our public ceremonies. Here is a simple ceremony you can do at home yourself, one indoors and one outdoors. The moon is on the 1st/2nd.

Indoor version

Preparations:

Read about the wolverine and the nettle to understand their symbolism and properties

Prepare a quiet room with a small altar

Gather objects that represent the wolverine and nettle (pictures, figures)

Obtain dried nettle or nettle tea (available in health food stores)

Have a drum or drum sound ready (this can be from YouTube, for example)

Ceremony:

Cleanse the room with incense or juniper

Light a candle to represent the sacred fire

Sit quietly and meditate on the qualities of the wolverine and the nettle

Perform a short drum journey (5-10 minutes) focused on meeting the wolverine as a spirit animal

Write down insights from the journey

Finish by drinking nettle tea to integrate the energies

Outdoor version

Preparations:

Find a calm place in nature, preferably in an area where the wolverine lives

Bring a bag with the necessary items (warm clothes, blanket, drum, matches)

Bring dried nettle or nettle tea

Ceremony:

Cleanse the area by burning a little juniper or pine

Make a small circle in the snow or with stones

Light a small fire in the middle of the circle (if permitted) or use a candle in a lantern

Sit quietly and observe the winter landscape around you, feel the wolverine's energy

Perform a short drum journey to meet the wolverine

After the journey, drink a little nettle tea to feel the plant's power

Share your experiences aloud with the nature around you

Finish by thanking the wolverine, the nettle and the winter landscape for the guidance

For both versions, focus on the intentions and qualities of the wolverine and the nettle. Let the ceremony last as long as it feels natural, usually 30-60 minutes. In the winter season it is especially important to dress well and take the weather conditions into account when outdoors. Also remember to respect nature and follow local rules for open fires outdoors.
