Also known as the Long Night Moon. This is often the first full moon after the Winter Solstice, or the turning of the sun. It is associated with fire, dreams, ancestors and family. It is important to spend time together with the pack.

(With your arms crossed)
Wolf Spirit, you are pack and you are alone. In the dark of night you roam the hills and sing your song to the moon. I ask you, Wolf, to honour us with your presence and that we may feel you in our hearts.
(With your feet wide and your arms raised, let the wolf's spirit flow through you. Become the Wolf)
I am the hunter, I am the chaser, the one who howls. I am the joy of the hunt, the dance of the blood.
(Spread your arms toward one another and feel the togetherness with each other and the rest of the world)
Meet us on this night of the full moon. Give me strength to walk alone, but also together with others.
Share your heart with me; togetherness gives strength. Have trust and love; I have walked in your footsteps since the beginning of time.
Share with me when you hunt, for I am the cub who asks for knowledge.
(The Leader/the Wolf answers)
May you receive strength, wisdom and belonging. May courage and intuition flow through you. If you need me, call on me. For I am there, as a part of you. All the time.
(Embrace yourself)
I run in the hills and the mountains. I hunt in the forests and observe. Be faithful to me, to what I am. And I shall be faithful to you.
(Relax your arms and draw a deep breath. Let go of the wolf as you breathe out)
Wolf Spirit, you have shared your presence with us; we feel your loneliness and your strength in our hearts. We give thanks that you are willing to share.
The Wolf Journey
This is a time when feelings and emotions are close to the surface. We are influenced by the element of water and the North Wind. It is the time for new beginnings. Run with the wolf pack and let them lead you to fresh water and prey. Let them show you new directions to walk in the new year.
