During the year, Sjamanistisk Forbund has held full moons, solstices and equinoxes. Furthermore, in 2023 we
gave 2 school lectures. Sjamanistisk Forbund published its own ceremony book, which contains the wheel of the year in
ceremonies and preparations. The Ceremony Leader School has increased the proportion of women. There are currently 5 ceremony leaders in training, of whom four are women.
The Ceremony Leader School held 6 online sessions and 3 in-person gatherings. The Ceremony Leader School is
our own internal training programme for ceremony leaders. Sjamanistisk Forbund took part with 3 delegates at
ECER (European Congregation of Ethnic Religions) in Riga in June. Kyrre Gram Franck was elected to the board.
In 2023 there was 1 wedding and one naming ceremony.
We held Naturefest and an Autumn Equinox festival. These created a large deficit, so that in 2024 we will not
hold this. We have also taken part in some alternative fairs. We usually hold
an introductory course in shamanism, but this was not arranged in 2023. The same applies to shamanic
confirmation. We also had a gathering for members in Valdres.
We gave school lectures for two schools in 2023. The school lecture is adapted to the compendium for upper secondary level 3 religion and ethics. The teaching lasts two school periods.
Furthermore, there are a number of activities for children and young people at Naturefest. Here they get to meet figures from Norse mythology such as the Huldra and the troll, as well as practical workshops such as woodcarving, ceramics and
traditional Norse and Sami games. In 2023 we did not have confirmation.
Sjamanistisk Forbund has a good balance between men and women; across the boards 13 women and 14 men take part. On the ceremony side 10 men and 10 women take part. Some of us hold several positions. On the boards 2 of 5 board chairs are women.

Leading positions 57% women 43% men (leading positions are ceremony leader, forstander, board chair and
deputy chair.) The measures we have implemented by asking women to apply have worked. We will continue with
this. Nevertheless, it is emphasised that we still find that few wish to stand for
board work and that we must therefore take this into account. Likewise, board members are democratically
elected.
Sjamanistisk Forbund has used the grants for the operation of the faith community, ceremonies and training/professional gatherings for ceremony leaders/forstandere. Furthermore, we have also organised Naturefest, which is a platform for spiritual intangible cultural heritage. There a number of ceremonies and workshops were held that showcase both the contemporary as well as ceremonies built on Sami and Norse cultural heritage.

This year there is an election for board chair, board member and 2 deputies. The current chair Christoffer Skauge Eid is standing for re-election, as is board member Asbjørn Aamot. Gry Jansdatter and Simonne Ødegaard are standing for election as board member, and secondarily as deputy.
Resolution: Board chair Christoffer Skauge Eid is re-elected with 1 blank vote. Board member Asbjørn Aamot is unanimously re-elected for a new two-year period with 23 votes against 6 votes distributed among the other candidates (Gry 4 and Simonne 2). Gry Jansdatter and Simonne Ødegaard are elected as deputy members with 24 and 26 votes respectively, with 2 blank votes cast.

Proposed resolution: Course fees have been unchanged for 10 years; the course fee for members is increased by 100,- to 1600 per course. The course fee for non-members is increased by 500,- to 2500,-. The course remuneration is increased to 2500,-. The course assistant's fee increases from 0,- to 1000. All of these effective from 2025.
